Christian Celebrations
Christian Holy Days Prophecy
And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre at the rising of the sun.
As we pick up where we left off in this Biblical Feasts and Christian Celebrations voyage, the stone that covered the Tomb of Jesus had been mysteriously rolled away and the tomb empty on Sunday morning. Do the math on these facts and this reveals that Jesus was killed on Thursday, not "Good Friday."
So ... Where did the term "Good Friday" come from? Many believe that because the Jewish people asked that Jesus' crucified body be taken down from the cross because it would be "Sabbath" at sunset. (Sabbath is from Friday sunset to Saturday sunset.)
The Jewish people therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.
So the next day was a Sabbath day (a day of rest from work).
Biblical Feasts Point of Interest ... Did you notice that it said that this particular Sabbath was an "high" Sabbath day, meaning it was a special Sabbath. The Sabbath being spoken of is a special Sabbath that occurred the day after Passover. This prophetic event would become one of the Christian Celebrations.
6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast
of unleavened bread unto the Lord: seven days ye must eat unleavened
bread.
7 In the first day ye shall have an holy convocation: ye
shall do no servile work therein.
The first day (the 15th day of the month) was the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread and was a special Sabbath and at sunset it would have been this special Sabbath ... Not the weekly Sabbath.
The math on proving this Christian Celebrations Truth is simple ... Matthew reveals that Jesus was found missing the day after Sabbath.
In the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulcher.
Here is a Christian Celebrations trivia question for you ... How can it be then that they asked Jesus to be taken down from the Cross on the day before Sabbath and His body was found missing the day after Sabbath when we know Jesus told us He would be in the earth 3 days and 3 nights?
For as Jonas [Jonah] was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man [Jesus] be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Christian Holy Days Head Scratcher ... If Jesus died on Friday and was found missing on Sunday morning ... How can one ever make that add up to 3 days and 3 nights?
Friday Night
Saturday Night
Sunday Night
The problem is that Jesus was found missing Sunday morning. As I said, simple math revealing that past Hebrew Biblical Feasts in the Bible were merely shadows of Christian Holy Days to come. But, let's hurry back to our Biblical Feasts in the Bible hunt for facts ... Jesus died on the 14th day of the first month of the Jewish calendar just as every other Passover lamb being sacrificed to keep His people from death was.
The Christian Celebrations truth obtained by all of the research done creating this Biblical Feasts in the Bible chart and watching how those Old Testament holidays became the awe inspiring Christian Holy Days and Christian Feasts in the Bible, continues to prove that God is truly real and so are these prophecies. Let's continue our expedition into the Biblical feasts versus Christian Holy Days in the Bible comparison. Here is our Bible Holy days from the Old Covenant and Christian events from the New Covenant chart to make doing the math even easier.

God is absolutely awesome, is He not?
Is it just a coincidence that just as Jesus ministered for 3½ years before His death and resurrection, that "Anti"christ's reign of terror also lasts 3½ years? Satan is trying to mirror image God's plan.
This brings us to the Biblical Feasts in the Bible concerning Jewish celebrations that are Spiritual shadows of the End Times.
Christian Holy Days
Christian Feasts in the Bible Secret
As you recall, there are two sets of celebrations in the Jewish one year period. They are in the first month and the seventh month. We have explored the first month and found awesome shadows of Jesus' first visit ... We will now look into the seventh month celebrations which you will find foretells of the return of Jesus and brings on ... The End Times.
There is a celebration known as the Feast of Trumpets ... on the first day of the seventh month where there is a Sabbath (seven days) of blowing of trumpets.
24 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, In the
seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a
sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation.
25 Ye shall do no servile work therein: but ye shall offer
an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
Christian Celebrations in the Bible Note: More Christian Holy Days adventure advice for you ... Choose to pay close attention to this next celebration shared in our Biblical Feasts in the Bible Teaching ... This celebration will be a shadow of an event to come. In Revelation, there is a time period known as the Trumpets where Angels blow Seven Trumpets and disasters start to occur.
There is also a celebration in the Bible known as the Day of Atonement. On the tenth day of the seventh month the Jewish people would afflict their souls and offer an offering made by fire to make atonement before the Lord. Whoever's soul was not afflicted was to be cut off from the people.
27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall
be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto
you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by
fire unto the Lord.
28 And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a
day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the Lord your
God.
29 For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted
in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.
30 And whatsoever soul it be that doeth any work in that
same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.
31 Ye shall do no manner of work: it shall be a statute
for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
32 It shall be unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall
afflict your souls: in the ninth day of the month at even, from even
unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.
Remember ... These Biblical Feasts in the Bible of the past Holy Days were but a shadow of Holy events yet to come. This includes the time period during the End Times. But, what events and why? Let's check it out. Oh and by the way, the purpose of the End Times is to bring souls through fiery trials to test and prove them worthy. (Purification process). The events of the End Times will certainly accomplish this. But, why would a loving God do this? Because He loves us! The last thing that God needs is more people to become Angels and later choose to become fallen angels (As they did before) to try and lure God's future children to the dark side. The vicious cycle must stop. God is merely reacting to mankind's choices they make because He gives us free will . His reaction is actually one of unconditional Love because He is trying to save us ... From ourselves. That being shared, let's get back to our Christian Holy Days and Christian Feasts in the Bible study.
There also is a celebration known as the Feast of Tabernacles. On the fifteenth day of the seventh month there is a gathering of the Firstfruits of the land. It even says in Leviticus that this event will be a statute that is to be kept forever and is to be celebrated in the seventh month.
34 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The
fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles
for seven days unto the Lord.
35 On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall
do no servile work therein.
36 Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto
the Lord: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you;
and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord: it is a
solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.
37 These are the feasts of the Lord, which ye shall
proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire
unto the Lord, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice,
and drink offerings, every thing upon his day:
38 Beside the sabbaths of the Lord, and beside your gifts,
and beside all your vows, and beside all your freewill offerings,
which ye give unto the Lord.
39 Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye
have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto
the Lord seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the
eighth day shall be a sabbath.
40 And ye shall take you on the first day the boughs of
goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and the boughs of thick trees,
and willows of the brook; and ye shall rejoice before the Lord your
God seven days.
41 And ye shall keep it a feast unto the Lord seven days
in the year. It shall be a statute for ever in your generations: ye
shall celebrate it in the seventh month.
42 Ye shall dwell in booths seven days; all that are
Israelites born shall dwell in booths:
43 That your generations may know that I made the children
of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of
Egypt: I am the Lord your God.
44 And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the
feasts of the LORD.
These Biblical Feasts in the Bible are merely a shadow of events to come which evolve into Christian Holy Days and Christian Feasts ...
The event in the End Times known as the Rapture is also called the Gathering and Jesus calls the 144,000 Jewish men that He sealed to protect His Firstfruit.
These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the Firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
There is a time period in the End Times that matches these celebrations perfectly. It is during and at the end of the Trumpets. This will be the Jewish time of testing and the Rapture of the Jewish believers.
If you study the End Times ... This reveals that since the Anti christ's reign of terror ends and the Jewish people are Raptured at the Seventh Trumpet, this will be in the Jewish seventh month.

The Rapture
The event in the End Times known as the Rapture is also called the Gathering, when Jesus calls the 144,000 Jewish men that He sealed to protect His firstfruit.
* See note below.
*Note: It's very important to note that there are two firstfruits celebrations in the year, and likewise there will be two raptures. It is God, "harvesting" or gathering His own firstfruits. First He will gather the Gentiles, then He will gather the Jewish.
How do you know the first Rapture is for the Gentiles? Because Revelation 7:9 describes those who are "Raptured." It says they are people from all nations, kindreds, people and tongues ... which is the definition of Gentiles. Then in Revelation 15:2, God gathers His firstfruits, which are Jewish.
Why the Gentiles first? Because the Jewish people had the opportunity to accept Jesus as their Lord, and they crucified Him instead. Now they'll encounter Antichrist and many will accept him as their lord, and many will find Truth before the End.
Notice that in the first rapture there is no mention of Anti christ. This is because the Gospel (the Truth of Jesus) wasn't taught to the Gentiles, as for them to be able to accept Him as their Lord until after Jesus' death and Resurrection (the Time of the Gentiles), so they don't have to experience Antichrist.
Also, Jesus said, The first will be last and the last will be first. There is a time period in the End Times that matches these celebrations perfectly. It is during and at the end of the Trumpets. This will be the Jewish time of testing and the rapture of Jewish believers.

Antichrist reigns terror for 3½ years as confirmed in the End Times. Sooooo, his reign of terror starts ... At Passover, which is in the first month of the Jewish year.
Major Note for Those Who Study End Times Prophecy
It is written that Antichrist has a 3½ year reign of terror after breaking a seven year false peace covenant around half way through the seven year period (3½ years). Therefore, if Antichrists' reign of terror starts at Passover ... This false peace covenant will be made 3 ½ years earlier at the Day of Atonement. Beware of any Peace deal made with Israel around the time of the Hebrew Holy Day of Atonement (the tenth day of the seventh Jewish month).
Now, back to the Biblical Feasts in the Bible Spiritual projections. This Antichrist entity is simply going to be the opposite or anti of Jesus Christ, who started His ministry at the seventh month celebrations and died for our sins at Passover during the first month celebrations.
Another Christian Holy Days Point of Interest ... How appropriate is it that Satan will start his allotted 7 year time period of evil at the same time of year that Jesus' ministry ended, making it appear as though the Lord is picking up where He left off (two thousand years later) to those who are unaware. Do NOT be deceived. It is not Christ, it is Antichrist. See our 7000 Year Study to better understand the 2000 year timing prophecy.
Christian Feasts prophecy also shows us that since the seven year time period known as End Times tribulation will last for seven years, and that this seven year time period ends in the seventh month, then simple math concludes that this seven year period will also have to begin in the seventh month of the Jewish year as well.
Now, take a look at what Daniel wrote:
Blessed is he that waiteth and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty [1335] days.
That's seventy five days after the 3½ years of the reign of Antichrist.
Well, it just so happens that seventy five days after the Day of Atonement is the celebration of Hanukkah, which is the Jewish celebration of the ousting of Antiochus Epiphanes. This evil man had the spirit of Antichrist (just as John the Baptist had the Spirit of Elijah). So, we have another Feast Shadow represented by Hanukkah, of Antichrist being ousted in the End Times. You could say that Antiochus was a shadow of Antichrist.
You may be asking yourself ... What does this Christian Feasts prophecy have to do with me? Well, during the second 3½ years, called The Great Tribulation of the End Times, which is when Antichrist reigns, the believers in Jesus will be hidden in the wilderness. After three and a half years of abiding in the wild, as you can imagine, most anyone would be anxious to come out of hiding, assuming that all is safe, but Daniel warns ... Blessed is he who waits seventy five more days.
75 days after the Day of Atonement
Hanukkah
Celebration of the ousting of Antiochus Epiphanes who had the spirit of Antichrist. It happened on the twenty fifth day of the ninth month.
See Antichrist Study
In the End Times, blessed is he who waits one thousand three hundred thirty five days.
That is 3½ years + 75 days after the beginning of the reign of Antichrist.)
Firstfruits is a celebration that happens twice a year, once for each harvest time. The second or "new meat offering" was a shadow of Pentecost.
50 days after the First Fruits celebration of the 1st month
Pentecost
Jesus stayed 40 days after He resurrected and then was taken up to Heaven. It was 10 days after His ascension, which would make it 50 days from the day Jesus was Resurrected, that about 120 believers encountered the Holy Spirit which gave them gifts such as the ability to speak in tongues and they saw tongues of fire come upon them.
Christian Feasts Shadow Prophecy ... There is also a feast known as the Jubilee which happens every fiftieth year. It begins on the Day of Atonement, which will be the day that Antichrist's reign will end, and it is a celebration of liberty throughout all the land.
Every 50th year on the Day of Atonement
Jubilee
A celebration of freedom throughout the land.
And ye shall dwell in the land in safety.
The Millennium
At the conclusion of the End Times, Satan is locked in the bottomless pit. Believers live and reign with Christ a thousand years.
In short ... The Biblical Feasts in the Bible were in essence God's prophecy which gave us insight into the coming events which would then become Christian Celebrations in the Bible.
