3 He was on Earth until he was 365 years old.
4 He did not die. He was taken from Earth by God.

Genesis 5:21-24

21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:
22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

Evil Spirits Bible Side Note: Methuselah lived to be older than all others in the Bible - 969 years. This should give you an idea of the timing of Enoch's presence on Earth. Sad Origin of Evil Spirits in the Bible

The Bible reveals that before the flood of Noah's time, there were some angels in Heaven that came down from Heaven and had children with human women and mixed the angelic with humanity. They were giants.

In the book of Enoch - Chapters 6-16, It speaks of the same story, but elaborates a little more as to what happened next. It says the angels who chose to leave Heaven to have a union with human women were to be sentenced to hell.

Peter says the same thing:

2 Peter 2:4-5

4 For if God spared not the angels (Fallen) that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

According to the Book of Enoch, these fallen angels who had sex with human women who in turn bear the giants, also taught the world vanity, pride and taught them how to build weapons and every foul thing.

God saw that the humans on earth were following after the fallen angels and becoming a byproduct of evil themselves. Chaos and sin were the obvious result. After seeing these heartbreaking events, God flooded the world in order to cleanse the world which He had created. Some ask ... Why did God allow all that? Why not just keep them from doing it in the first place? The answer is that God did not create us to just be mindless puppets. He gave all of us free will. The ability to choose for ourselves. Mankind just kept choosing wrong.

Let's get back to our Evil Spirits in the Bible study to further explore ... Are Evil Spirits Real? At that time, God took the fallen angels who had CON-demned God's humans and placed the fallen angels in Hell. The children (the giants) who were the offspring of the human women and the fallen angels ... God spared and are now the evil spirits and Bible demons who work for Satan seeking our demise and who we have to deal with now by seeking ways of how to ward off evil spirits. That is the story of the origin of evil spirits.

Book of Enoch, Chapter 15, Verses 8-12

8 And now, the giants, who are produced from the spirits and flesh, shall be called evil spirits upon the earth,
9 and on the earth shall be their dwelling. Evil spirits have proceeded from their bodies; because they are born from men and from the holy Watchers is their beginning and primal origin;
10 they shall be evil spirits on earth, and evil spirits shall they be called. {As for the spirits of heaven, in heaven shall be their dwelling, but as for the spirits of the earth which were born upon the earth, on the earth shall be their dwelling.}
11 And the spirits of the giants afflict, oppress, destroy, attack, do battle, and work destruction on the earth, and cause trouble: they take no food, but nevertheless
12 hunger and thirst, and cause offences. And these spirits shall rise up against the children of men and against the women, because they have proceeded from them.

We now know the true answer to the questions ... Are evil spirits real, what is the origin of evil spirits and what are evil spirits in the Bible? They are the creation of a sin committed between fallen angels and human women. They were giants and became evil spirits after their folks were judged for overflowing sin which caused the great flood to be needed to cleanse the earth. This question comes to mind again ... Why didn't God just sentence the "giants" to hell along with their fallen angel dads at that time? Because that would not be fair or create balance to the chaos. These soon to be evil spirits had no choice in their birth, but they did have choices after seeing what happened to the fallen angels and will be judged for their choices, in the end, just as everyone and everything will be at the Great White Throne Judgment.

Lying spirits can cause men to false prophecy.

1 Kings 22:22-23

22 And the Lord said unto him, Wherewith? And he said, I will go forth, and I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And He said, Thou shalt persuade him, and prevail also: go forth, and do so.
23 Now therefore, behold, the Lord hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these thy prophets, and the Lord hath spoken evil concerning thee.

The Spirit of infirmity can stay for long periods of time.

One was in a woman 18 years.

Luke 13:11

And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.

Spirits of divination (predictors) can possess a body.

Acts 16:16

And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying.

A perverse spirit can be sent by the Lord.

Isaiah 19:14

The LORD hath mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they have caused Egypt to err in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggereth in his vomit.

One can be possessed by a dumb spirit.

Mark 9:17

And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit;
