Daniel Vision Bible Story

Daniel Interpretation Warning

This specific Christianity Oasis Daily Bread study is our Nebuchadnezzar Vision Bible journey taking a look into the meaning of the Daniel vision interpretation and how the mysterious Daniel interpretation of this Nebuchadnezzar Vision affects your be-YOU-tiful Christian walk.

Nebuchadnezzar Vision of a Tree

It's such a pleasure to study with you here at Daily Bread. We are looking back at the Book of Daniel. If you have been along for the journey thus far, you may remember Daniel's three friends were just saved from a fiery death by God who some believe used an Angel to rescue Daniel's friends.

We will pick it back up with King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon making yet another announcement where he is praising God after seeing another miracle by God and Nebuchadnezzar reminded the people of how the prophet Daniel had interpreted a dream that he had where Daniel gave the credit to this same God (who the Babylonians were unaware of His might and glory before). Nebuchadnezzar then begins to speak of of yet another dream that he has had ...

In this latest dream, he beheld a great tall tree that reached unto Heaven. The fruit upon it fed everyone. The beasts of the field took refuge under the shade of this massive tree. In Nebuchadnezzar's dream, a holy watcher came down from Heaven and demanded that the tree in the vision be cut down the great tree and scatter the fruit.

Daniel Vision Interpretation Prophecy

But, he said to leave the stump of his roots in the earth even with a band of iron and brass and let the grass be wet with the dew of heaven and let his portion be with the beasts of the earth. Let his heart be changed from a man's to that of a beast and let seven times pass over him. This matter was the decree of the watchers and holy ones. This was commanded so that all may know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men.

Nebuchadnezzar asks Daniel to interpret this newest dream for him and Daniel went and prayed to know what the dream was and to receive understanding of the dream. Within one hour Daniel returned looking very troubled and explained the interpretation of Nebuchadnezzar's vision. Daniel said ... YOU are the tree Nebuchadnezzar. Thou art grown and become very strong among all the nations. Thy greatness has even grown unto Heaven.

However ... God has said that you shall be driven from men and that you will soon reside with the beasts for a period of seven years. The stump (Kingdom) shall stay strong though, at least for now because your kingdom will continue on after you. Then shall you know that God rules all things and man does NOT. Daniel told Nebuchadnezzar that he should repent, stop sinning and to show mercy to the poor.

As you can imagine, Nebuchadnezzar was shocked to hear thee things, but did not dare harm Daniel after all that he had seen. Twelve months passed after the Nebuchadnezzar vision and Daniel vision interpretation and Nebuchadnezzar was wandering around his palace and in a state of pride suddenly exclaims ... Is not Babylon the greatest and was it not built by ME and MY great power? Uh oh. Here comes the boom.

Daniel Vision Interpretation Judgment

While Nebuchadnezzar was still speaking these words a voice from Heaven said ... O King Nebuchadnezzar to thee it is spoken. The kingdom will be taken from you and they will drive you away from men. And thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: They shall make thee to eat grass as oxen and seven times (7 Years) shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and will give kingdoms to whomever He chooses.

This is wild ... Within the very same hour, these prophetic events began to occur to Nebuchadnezzar. Soon his hairs were like eagle's feathers and his nails were like claws. Can you imagine the devastation and CON-fusion that dwelt within Nebuchadnezzar as he began to dwell in the wilderness with the beasts?

At the end of the seven years, but what must have seemed like a lifetime to Nebuchadnezzar, he truly understood the pitfall of pride. He figured it out. Nebuchadnezzar then looked up to Heaven and his understanding returned unto him. He blessed and praised the most High. Nebuchadnezzar knew that God is the one who runs the show. Not man.

After submitting to God, Nebuchadnezzar then regained his kingdom and had more honor than before because he now knew the Truth. King Nebuchadnezzar served God for the rest of his living days and perhaps even thereafter because God is all about Grace.

The last spoken words of Nebuchadnezzar were that he who walks in pride ... God is able to put down.
