Things keep deteriorating with stepdaughter and husband...wanna punch him next time I see him...on the other hand,I've lost 15 pounds on the diet, and been victorious in other areas!

Keep shining the light of Jesus to your daughter and her husband...it's the only thing that can reach through the darkness in their marriage.

Congrats on the diet...bet you are beginning to feel better already!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while...was without internet for a few days, and then the wife and I just spent a fabulous weekend in Ft. Myers this past weekend.
Things are good with daughter and husband so far this week, and things are great with wife and I!
God is so, so good!

Trying to get used to second shift...I volunteered to help out on second just for this week, and it has its pros and cons...on the pro side, I'm able to get a lot done around the house during the day, so my wife can pretty much relax when she gets home...on the con, I don't get to see too much of her, and I really miss her. And of course, I'm alone for extended hours, which means the temptation grows, of course.

Sounds like you need to make those times with your wife...extra special...she is valuable

OK, here is the issue...I figured out how to get around the web blocker, and I've visited sites, but quickly left them, then re-set the web blocker. Satan is definitely beating me up over all this, but I definitely consider myself victorious, because I am NOT lingering, NOT gazing and then doing other things with myself, I AM leaving quickly, and then asking God's forgiveness and strength...like Paul said in Romans, I am appalled by what my flesh wants to do...take that, Satan, you will not win today, tomorrow, or ever!

Praying for you...if you've found a way around the blocker...maybe it's best you limit yourself on the computer during times of temptation as well...just don't even turn it on.
