My Oasis memories
I've been coming to Christianity Oasis for many years now. I have met some many people here over the years, and one time we even had a "real time in person" Oasis gathering. The Oasis was so very different than it is now. There were studies, a chatroom and one forum where the topics were all mixed together. Mackenaw would host a chat program once a week. For the life of me, the name slips my mind, but I remember the sharing we all enjoyed. We've had week long Christmas and Easter chat gatherings, where every hour someone would host a different chat program. Sassy spent hours sitting in the chatroom waiting for souls to enter. And the silly times we've had. We had a ladies forum and the ladies played truth or dare there once. I think we did a couple of things to garner a frown or two from the men, but we ladies sure had a great time. So many memories.
Many of you have your own memories of the Oasis. Please feel free to share yours as well.

Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

Re: My Oasis memories
Watched New England play foot ball today and thought of Storm the entire time. They were his team.
I also watched some of the Eagles play. I had to take my son to town so I didn't see it all. I was very glad to hear Eagles won. HolyGhostFire would be thrilled with that.
Making home made pizza and thought of Phantomfaith.

Re: My Oasis memories
mlg and dora i remember yall from years ago. I was known as goldie then. I can remember times when this place was just so vibrant and full of life and possibilities and amazing fellowship. We laughed, we cried sometimes. I remember why some of the smilies were made and so many names come to mind. Oh my i havent thought of Storm in ages. Sure do hope he is ok. I used to have such fun with lizzie and she made all those cool banners and such for this place. I could give an entire list of screen names that are still in my head and i have many many fond memories that i treasure. And Poe with her glomps those were always bound to put a smile on a person's face. I didnt make it to the real in life few day event that was held but was a member at that time. I remember mercy and the lil shoes O made in remembrance of her. Chat ALWAYS had people in it sometimes as many as 30 or 40 peeps and an extra chatroom. I also learned MUCH and it was the result of the fellowship and genuineness of people the studies and everyone really showing love to one another first and foremost. I hope to find similar days like those again. I just recently wandered back in. luv yall

Re: My Oasis memories
This past week I was sitting in chat. A soul named Laird entered the chatroom and said that he had come to the Oasis, as many "old" Christian sites he used to visit had been closed down. He said he remembered the Oasis, and entered the chatroom to see if anyone was here. I was blessed by his visit, and we chatted for a bit. It saddens me to know that Christian websites are becoming fewer. It certainly tells us the signs of the times. Thank God we still have the Oasis after all these years. And you know what the most awesome part is? God is still using the Oasis to heal souls and reach the lost. Just check out the counseling forum. God is so good.
