have you ever stopped to watch birds?
Copied from my blog...
I was sitting on the front porch today..... and i watched birds land on dandelions. You heard me..
LAND.
On Dandelions.
I'm dead serious.
The birds would fly over, grap the stem of a dandelion with their tiny bird feet, and attempt to land on it. Usually the birds were too big. (Or the dandelions were too small...) and the poor dandelions would tip right over and the birds would end up in the grass. And the birds would either sit there on top of the poor dandelions... or they would get off and tromp around in the grass a little bit like they totally meant to do that. And then they would look around like "Yeah, nobody saw that.... Its all good."
But one bird did actually pull it off. The bird was TINY, much smaller than the other birds, and it chose a particularly large dandelion that could hold its weight. It flew over, grabbed the stem with its itty bitty feet, and the dandelion DIDN'T tip over, it stayed upright! And the bird just hung there..... sideways.... on the dandelion.. like nobody's business.
Some of God's creatures amaze me!
"Find joy in the tiny things, even if its just a lady bug crawling across the window."
Philippians 4: 8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. ESV

Hi Logi!!!
I pray this note finds you well,
I am like you it is awesome to see and realize just how complex the creations of God
not to mention the beauty of them too
This is also what cracks me up.....some think BOOMMMM!!!! and all of this just appeared
When you think of the complexity of ALL the little things of this earth and then think of how they ALL work in part with one another there should be NO doubt it all was created with a purpose.
God bless

exactly. I would need a lot more faith to believe in evolution.... than I need to believe in creation...

Hi Logi I have to really thankyou for posting this because I read it on the way to the hospital before treatment and for 3 long hours I was picturing what you had written about the bird and the dandelion, It put a smile on my face and helped me get through treatment, so again Thankyou

I love this Logi! Made me smile. I try to pay close attention to Gods creatures as I believe God uses them to tell us things if we are listening.
Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
