It's Gonna be OK - my testimony
My Testimony
First, and foremost, I give thanks to God for the love He gave me first. I give Him all the glory and all the praise for giving me a purpose here on this earth! This is my testimony that I wish to share with you.
I was raised in a home broken apart by the divorce of my parents when I was about 3. Even back then, I remember going to church and Sunday school, and continued until the age of 17. I believed in God and knew who Jesus was to a point, but I was very rebellious and felt I was forced to go to church. Since my mother needed to work 2 full time jobs just to make ends meet, she was never around, and when she was, she was not the loving mother I now realize I desperately needed. It seemed I could not do anything right and was always being punished for things I didn't do, and was told by her that she would put me in a home where little girls weren't wanted. I was so emotionally abused and physically abused, I just wanted to die. The only thing I turned to was my pets. I knew that no matter what I was going through, I could rely on them for giving me comfort and loving me back when I so desperately needed to feel loved.
At age 18, I started seeing a young man who I ended up marrying, and we were together for 26 years. We had a wonderful son that I am ever so thankful that God blessed me with. Unfortunately, because I was a Baptist, and my husband was a catholic, according

Hi Lion, sis.
i loved reading this. You have touched my heart in it and the Lord has blessed me through it. He never ceases to amaze me in the ways He reaches out to us, the ways He takes a life, so broken, so alone, and shows us that He was always there...just waiting..and loving us through it all, even when we didnt return it to Him. God bless you, sis..and thank you for sharing your heart here. We serve an awesome mighty God.
in Jesus,
love momo
