saint701's Testimony
Hi, All of You Cool Thirsty New Creatures hangin' out at this blessed waterin' hole..
Blessings!
My Testimony in letter form. I pray the Lord bless it to your soul in love.
Blessings!
I loaded the forgiveness prayer up on 3 sites as there is an anointing on it. I loaded it on Walking Together, Forgiveness and Mercy, and Partners in Prayer. I know most think we hear too much about the importance of forgiveness, but in truth not enough, as it is the doorway to our love walk with the Father.
(Amplified Version)
You know 1 Cor. ch. 13 tells us all about our Dad's love and just how perfect it is. Dad's love suffers long and is patient and kind, never envies or boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vain glorious, does not display itself haughtily, is not conceited or arrogant and inflated with pride, it is not rude or unmannerly, and does not act unbecomingly. Dad's love in us does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self seeking. It is not touchy or fretful or resentful. It takes no account of the evil done to it.. It pays no attention to a suffered wrong. It does not rejoice in injustice or unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail. Love bears up under anything and everything that comes; Is ever ready to believe the best of every person. Its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and endures everything without weakening. Love never fails, never fades out, becomes obsolete or comes to an end. Its our Dad's love.
I love I Cor. 13 because I can check my daily love growth by it. I can see dark areas in my soul that need light, and direct my spirit to build me up there. Now in "that," I have an advantage because I know how to walk in the spirit. I am in constant communion with my spirit who is in constant communion with the Holy Spirit, for after many days in fasting and prayer last Spring, the Father did visit me in person and allow me to both feel His love, the greatness of it, and give me His commandment of love.
So now each day Dad's love is renewed in me, shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit, as I make a conscious effort to abide in His love. He did not give me His love because I am in anyway special or unique, but revealed Himself to me for your sake so you can truly see how rich in mercy and grace He truly is, for if the love that I have was given to me was on grounds of deserving such a gift, it would have been impossible for me to receive it, as even in my Christian walk before last year, I was a vile sinner. This I say in truth so that all who read this can have hope in the love of God, as very soon I believe their lights will come on too, and they also will be able to understand the true nature of their election in grace, and how our salvation is His ongoing work within us.
Our Dad's pathway to salvation is truly a spiritual one, and we all should find ourselves understanding Romans 8:14-39, especially 38 and 39 where Paul declares how we, as Dad's sons, should think; That is, be persuaded beyond doubt, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things impending or threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation is able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
So this is why the Holy Spirit gave me the Love Prayer for the Father and His Family that I posted over on Walking Together Each Day Prayer Chain. Dad puts new wine in new bottles. I now understand why Dad's love was so long in coming to abide in me although I longed for His love to be abiding in me. There was no one to travail in birth for me so that Christ would be formed in there.
The Lord saw this and let me go overseas to teach so my family members would miss me and pray for my well being all of the time. Their love prayers created a womb around my spirit for Dad to work His creative miracle of forming Christ in me. Again, this is why the Love Prayer for the Father and His Family is so important that we all should be continually praying it for all on Christianity Oasis and all of our own blood relatives because the Holy Spirit operates on us through His Words that we pray. (This is The Ministry of the Word and the Spiritthat I also posted over on Walking Together Each Day Prayer Chain.
One really cool thing about all this is I have gotten to see how our Dad thinks when He picks a "stinker" like me out of a batch of babes to teach about His love. It really made Him happy to strip me of house, home, car, passport, teaching job, health insurance, personal computer, television, stereo..the whole 9 yards. I have 3 suitcases full of clothes a few bible commentaries, a Strong's, (given to me yesterday by my x-wife), a Vine's, (had it hidden away), and a few bibles. I walk to the local library each day to get online.
Most of the time I only have a few dollars to my name. I did receive a small gift of inheritance of 1600 dollars in late April that I used to set myself apart with for fasting and prayer. Toward the end of that time I got to meet our Dad. That's where the love prayer came from.
Anyway, the spoiling of my posessions made our Heavenly Dad happy because He knew that I would have to turn to Him with all my heart and rely on Him daily for everything. Now I am happy too, because I have something I have always desired more than anything else. I have His love to carry with me each day and give it to whomever I can.
What He has done to me in love, (not in the spoiling of your possessions),
He is working through His Words of our prayers to do to and for all of His children, all that read this, and all wherever His love is at work. I have written this so you know just how important our love/word prayers are.

Hi Saint,
That was a beautiful testimony and it reminded me of the very first time I met Jesus.
I gave away and lost most of my earthly possessions and I had very little not even a car....I walked to work and to the grocery and had very little money but I had never felt soooo much joy in my whole life.
The only sad part is that I couldn't get going when things got tough and the persecution started.
That was 25 yrs ago and I dread the day I walked away from Jesus. I consider that day the worst day of my life cuz I went back out into the world and life has been the pits.
I say this as a warning to new Christians! NOTHING in this world is worth giving up Jesus. It is the hardest road back and I am suffering so much more cuz I gave up when things got rough. How I wish I had obeyed and went to church and asked for help...but....I didn't.
How long have you been a Christian Saint?
You are a blessing on this site! May God keep you and use you to encourage ppl like myself that are thinking of throwing in the towel.

Re:
Hi Tracy, All,
Blessings!
My message is supposed to be something like the unfathomable riches of His grace. Read a book by a renowned British author D. M. Lloyd Jones back in the 80's. His primary message was that the grace of God is much stronger than sin. His grace is present with us to the uttermost. If we turn from Him in our ignorance, He doesn't turn from us. He has already worked out a plan to get us back. Our salvation is His work. He gets the glory. That he leaves the 99 sheep that are in the pin to get the one out there somewhere caught in a brier patch isn't just some ol' story in the Bible, it is the way He works on behalf of those pressed out of measure by the opposition.
I honestly do not know how long I have been Christian, but one thing I know for sure, I best be one on my last day here on this ol' planet.
Tracy, I do hope you are in good health and prospering this Lord's day.
Blessings!
