the first time i got saved was right after my grandfather past away 6 years ago. it was very hard on my family and opened a lot of eyes to what could happen.

some dont know that the night i got saved god was working on my momma and me the same time. we had both got saved that night.

but.

i had gone away from god two times since that time looking for more happiness, but i couldnt find it anywhere i went or anything i done.

the second time i went to god was easter morning and was bap. that night.

then i left god again.

i was scared to even go back to him because of the many times i left and the sinful things i done.

at church my pastor brought in a special singer/preacher billy fields. brother billy preached the message that i was hungring for. (matthew 21:22 and all things what so ever ye shall ask in prayer believeing ye shall receive) after hearing that message i knew it was ok to run back to jesus with the full faith and give him all my praise!

i thank god for brother billy and the book of matthew. with out god and them i wouldnt be here severing him.

for people who go looking for happiness in the world u wont find it! U CANT FIND ANY BETTER FRIEND THAN JESUS!

oh and the song that was being sanged on the final and wonderful night was called ( the old rugged cross)

thank you for your post sis. Isnt it amazing? How the Lord will always take us back? that His love is never-ending and His mercy is so long-suffering? I cant tell you how many times I let Him go...let go of His hand, but He never gave up on me. Keep shining sis. Keep letting HIs love shine in you. He is so awesome.

That song was one that was sung in my early days of seeking Christ as well juju.

I am praising God he called you to himself. God is so good. He loves us so dearly.
You are right you can not find a better friend than Jesus.

@Habi thks 4 the post. Who can fathom the depth of his Love? Its so nice that we have such a loving friend in Jesus,who see us far beyond our mistakes to what He can make us be. I love him so much and love ya too.
