Trusting in God
The Ragamuffin Gospel by Brennan Manning
Reading this book lately and its really good especially for those of us who feel we arent worthy of Gods Grace. I mean I know no one is worthy but those of us who take it so far that we miss out on Gods actual Grace and Love for us by not trusting in Him cuz of our own doubts in ourselves and our low self esteem cuz we feel we arent doing good enough to be worthy of Gods Grace.
Rich Mullins read it and changed the name of his band to the Ragamuffins
NE way was reading it today and wanted to share this part with yall about trusting God:
A Bahamian priest related a story that captures the essence of biblical trust.
"A 2 story house had caught on fire. The family---father, mother, several children----were on their way out when the smallest boy became terrified, tore away from his mother, ran back upstairs.
Suddenly he appeared at a smoke-filled window crying like crazy.
His father, outside, shouted: 'Jump, son jump! I'll catch you.'
The boy cried: 'But, daddy, I cant see you.'
'I know,' his father called, 'I know. But I can see you.'"
If you get a chance those of you who are interested get a copy of this book from your library or online somewhere.
God Bless you all

Jesus calls us to be witnesses. Not lawyers or judges.

Re: Trusting in God
Wow! That brought me some peace.
Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
