demonic oppression

Postby Richard1979 » Mon Feb 14, 2011 1:45 pm

I have been having problems with demons for a long time but i didnt know it was them until a few years ago. They decieved me into believing my previous experienes were God for it appeard at the time that God was giving me signs to show Himself working in my life. These so-called signs were lasting for such a long time that I began to wonder why is God giving me signs and yet not letting me know why. I prayed about it and since then the demons now openly show themselves to me by speaking to me and simultaneously making sounds to confirm its them and not just something in my head. They speak to me daily and are heavy into playing mind games. i have prayed many times for them to leave but they still remain. i would apprecisate any prayers any of you could give in helping me to the point that they leave me alone for good, or any advice. thank you and God bless

Hello brother

I will be praying for you on this matter.

I also encourage you to take a look at the Spiritual Warfare forum, as there may be posts there that may be of interest to you.

hi Richard, nice to meet you

yea, the enemy is sneaky and the evil things will make you think that they are bigger then they are. Now that you know they are not God, time to rededicate yourself to Jesus and ask Him to come back fully into your life. Ask Him to forgive you your mistakes and fill you with new faith.

Once you do that, remember that Jesus in you is stronger then the others. And they can only be as strong as you allow them to be.

I am reminded of Simon the Soccer here... how he wanted power without giving God and Jesus the glory. Sometimes it is easy to forget that we need to always remember it is Jesus, Holy Spirit guiding us and not by our own power.
