READ:Psalm 62

I sought the LORD,
and He heard me.

Mallory doesn't feel loved by God. She received Jesus as her Savior several years ago and is confident that she is forgiven and will spend eternity with Him. She believes what God says in His Word, but she would also like to feel loved.
Her friends give her what she thinks is a pat answer: "It's not about feelings! Just believe and the feelings will come later." She says, "Okay, but when is later?" She believes she's "feelings-deficient."
God created us in his image to have emotions, so the longing to feel loved is legitimate and good. One way that many of us sense we're loved is when someone talks with us and listens to us.
God provides those needs in our relationship with Him too. he speaks through his Word to our heart (Heb. 4:12), and He wants us to pour out our heart to Him about everything (Ps. 62:8)__even our longing to feel His love. Besides a relationship with Him, He daily gives us our breath, clothing, food, and shelter. Like the psalmist, we can find Him to be our "rock" and "refuge" as we trust Him (vv.2,7).
God loves us. Now, we walk by faith. One day, when we're in His very presence, we'll never again be feelings-deficient. __Anne Cetas

Knowing that God love us comes by faith;
feeling His love for us comes by relationship
*****************Today's Bible Reading __ Psalm 62**************
1 Truly my soul silently
waits for God; from Him
comes my salvation. 2 He
only is my rock and my
salvation; He is my defense;
I shall not be greatly
moved.
3 How long will you attack
a man? you shall be slain,
all of you, like a leaning
wall and a tottering fence.
4 They only consult to cast
him down from his high
position; they delight in
lies; they bless with their
mouth, but they curse
inwardly.
5 My soul, waits silently
for God alone, for my
expectation is from Him.
6 He only is my rock and
my salvation; He is my
defense; I shall not be
moved. 7 In God is my
salvation and my glory;
the rock of my strength,
and my refuge, is in God.
8 Trust in Him at all times,
you people; pour out your
heart before Him; God is a
refuge for us.
9 Surely men of low
degree are a vapor, men of
high degree are a lie; if they
are weighed on the scales,
they are altogether lighter
than vapor. 10 Do not trust
in oppression, nor vainly
hope in robbery; if riches
increase, do not set your
heart on them.
11 God has spoken once,
twice I have heard this: that
power belongs to God.
12 Also to You, O Lord,
belongs mercy; for You
render to each one
according to his work.

Some scholars believe that David wrote this song of trust after his son
Absalom tried to dethrone him (2 Sam. 15-18). The superscription
"To the Chief Musician. To Jeduthun" is probably a liturgical notation.
Jeduthun, one of David's three chief musicians (1 chron. 16:41-41;
25:1-6; 2 Chron. 5:12), was associated with Psalms 39, 62, 77, and
89. __Sim Kay Tee
