End of Age (the signs) - Are you Prepared?

No one knows the day or hour of when our Lord will come, not even the angels in heaven nor the Son, but if he was to come tomorrow, are you prepared? Heaven and earth will be shaken on that day, the heavens and earth will be destroyed by fire. But we will have a new heaven and a new earth and a kingdom that cannot be shaken.(Hebrews 12:25-29)

In Matthew 24, the disciples asked Jesus what were the signs of his coming and end of age be. Jesus answered:

• Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming I am Christ.
• You will hear of wars and rumours of wars.
• Nation will rise against Nation, kingdom against kingdom
• There will be Famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains
• (Luke 21:11) There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven
• (luke 21:20) when you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies , you will know that its desolation is near.
• The gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
• There will be great distress unequaled from the beginning of the world until now and never to be equaled again. For if those days had not been cut short no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened.
• Immediately after the distress of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.
• (luke 21:25-26) There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars . On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.
• 2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. (2 peter 3:12) as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming, That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat, but in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness.
• They will see the son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call and they will gather his elect from the four winds., from one end of the heavens to the other.
• (luke 21:28) When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.

Acts chapter 1 also tells us that Jesus will appear in a cloud. (Acts 1:11) Why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.


( John 16:12-15) In those days, the Spirit of truth will guide us in all things, and tell us of things to come. (John 14:25-27)Let us not worry or be afraid for The Holy Spirit will teach us all things and remind us of things spoken to us . We will dream, prophesy and have visions.

(Acts 2 :17-21) (Joel 2 :28-32) In the last days, God says I will pour out my Spirit on all people , your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions your old men will dream dreams, even on my servants, both men and women. I will pour out my Spirit in those days and they will prophecy. I will show wonders in heaven above and signs on the earth below. Blood and fire and billows of smoke . The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord. And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.


So what do we know of the new heaven and a new earth and the kingdom? (rev 21)

• A New Jerusalem (The Holy City) with 12 gates, 12 angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light , and the Lamb is its lamp. The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. On no day will its gates ever be shut. (rev21)
• The dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them.(rev21)
• God will wipe every tear from their eyes. (Rev21)
• There will be no more death or mourning or crying in pain, for the older things has passed away (rev21)
• A reward is with Jesus, and he gives according to what he has done. (rev22)

In the last days, will we be many?

(Rev 7) The 144, 000 are the 12 tribes of Israel . But this is where most of us come in, just prior to the seventh seal when there is silence in heaven for about half an hour. (rev 7: 9) After this I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb. Our Lord, wil not forsake us, and our loving, merciful God wants many of us saved, a great multitude that no one could count, I really find that promising.

(Rev 22:17)
The Spirit of the bride say “Come” and let him who hears say “Come” whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.
