August 5 - sadness

Postby Sylvia » Wed Aug 05, 2009 8:38 am

Comfy thank you for your response to me. Especially the verses of scripture.
I have to share that every morning I wake up with sadness. The sadness of what lies ahead and the sadness of me being a burden to my family. Also the sadness of waiting and waiting and waiting.

This morning I went before the Lord with my sadness. This is the verse of scripture He gave me:

"Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.
Our God is a God who saves; form the Sovereign Lord comes escape from death." (Psalms 68: 19-20)

Daily I have to come before Him and give Him my burdens and daily He bears them. He is Sovereign and He alone can save us.

Thank you for your prayers. Love You Pine
Just a while ago I got a phone call. They moved my appointment from the 17th to the 10th with the surgeon.
God answers prayer.
Even though I burst out crying after the phone call, I am happy. Just the emotions of all this are like a roller coaster.

Amen Sylvia God does answer prayers.
Sis do you mind if we post a little something in the prayer forum so others will be praying during your surgery.
I know this can be such a scary thing to go through.
You give so much to Oasis. There are many that would love to lift you up in prayer during this time.

*hug* love ya sister

Pine
I will take all the prayers I can get!
Some of the elders from church came over and prayed with my husband and I. To know other Christians are there praying for you is a blessing and always can be felt.
Love You
