August 20 - How can we understand why?
Proverbs 3:5
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding."
Many times we think to ourselves or ask God - "Why me?"
Our understanding is limited. We cannot see into the future. We cannot fathom how God could use this horrible thing for good.
Proverbs 3:6
"In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths."
If we daily give what ever it is over to Him the promise is He will direct us.
And it states "ALL" thy ways.
Not just the easy stuff but the hard stuff too.
My next hard stuff is getting closer. I go for the pre-op testing for my cancer surgery today. I awoke with the jitters at first but then when I asked the Lord to lead me as to what I should put in here today He gave me this verse. Growing up in a Christian church I have heard this verse often. But we know that we can hear something over and over again and it's not until we apply it by faith that we see the results.
By faith. Not in ourselves. Giving it over to the Lord to handle.
The hard stuff and the easy stuff. He wants our all.
I know how satan can fill your mind with doubts and questions like "why Lord why?" But Christ alone has the answers. And maybe one of them is to help someone who goes through the same thing you did.
So many here use their past to help others going through the same trials.
I am always encouraged when I read them. Don't be ashamed to open up to others about your short comings and trials and how God delivered you. For He alone can use all things for good.
Love You All

Amen sis......reminds me of this one......
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
He knows what He's doing..knows where we've been, and will use it all if we allow Him to.
Praying for you, sis. His perfect will be done.
in Jesus,
