Continuing In the Sonderful Mystery..
Hello JCSM, Mac, All,
Blessings!
I know some of you out there are struggling with your faith. You have hit a wall, and you are frustrated, thinking you have explored the riches of the Lord's grace, and He doesn't have anything else for you. Let me assure that nothing could be further from the truth. A little heart felt yearning on your part will knock that barrier down.
He always leads us to higher levels through our eager yearnings and longings for more of Him. The other side wants us to think there isn't any more light, time to quit, give up, turn around..all those glorious teachings of Paul about being being filled with all the fullness of God, about knowing and understanding how great the Lord's love is toward us who believe, about being enlightened with wisdom and understanding, about the gifts, administrations and operations of the Holy Spirit dividing severally as He wills, about crying abba, Father, about knowing our Heavenly Father, about experiencing an ever growing love of the Father and each other..gone..turn back..you got a little taste and that is all there is..
NOT SO! Every single mysterious and glorious experience Paul described of the person born of the Spirit of God is available, made real, and experienced over time through growth in Christ Jesus. We are to keep on knocking, keep on seeking, and keep on asking. Everything Paul experienced and taught as our personal mentor in the faith, (he was the apostle to the gentiles, that would be us), is still available through our continued faith in Jesus.
If we knock, it is opened. If we seek, we shall find. If we ask, it is given.
If we need more experience then lets cry out to the Lord for it because He has made it available to us through His Spirit, through our eager yearnings, pleadings, desires, and longings. The effective fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much. Who is a righteous person? A righteous person is anyone that believes that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. And that would be you.
Blessings!

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
