Release Your Past

you have another step to take on your journey to allowing God's transforming hand to go to work in your life.
It is time to allow Him in to heal the scars of your past.
Many of us have become accustomed to hiding our scars in shame. But, Jesus did not go to the cross so you could hide your pain - He went so He could heal it.
He wants you to bring your secret hurts to His throne and allow His loving hands to mend those broken places in your life.
There are two kinds of scars that we all carry - The shame of things that we have done and the pain of things that were done to us.
Though Jesus went to the cross so that we could be made new spirit, soul, and body, many times God sees that newness, but we do not.
Maybe you constantly hear Satan's whispers reminding you of past stains that the blood of Jesus has long washed away. Or, maybe the memories of past abuse and misuse still linger in your mind.
"We try to bury them deep inside of ourselves, hoping that, with the passing of time, they will become more bearable or just disappear. But, the truth is, they do not. And, if we do not uncover those wounds and bring them before The Lord Who Heals Us, we can end up spiritual cripples harboring hidden bitterness and unforgiveness in the depths of our hearts."
Your Heavenly Father can heal those scars from your past if you will uncover them and show Him where it hurts
If you let Him, the Holy Spirit can guide you as you throw off the chains of your past and enter into the destiny that He has designed just for you.
love you all...
