How are YOU doing? C'mon. Seriously! Nobody's whispering or pointing and laughing ... how are you doing right now??

If you would rather not answer, meditate on this Truth:
"But, the fruit of the SPIRIT [yes, our dear counselor, the Holy Spirit] is ... self-control..." (Gal. 5:22-23a)

Whoa ... did you just read what I read?! The fruit of the Holy Spirit is self-control. You know what this means?? Because we are in Him, we have the Holy Spirit dwelling in us, EMPOWERING us. So guess what ... We have the POWER of God in us to overcome ANY AND EVERY TEMPTATION!!!! We have the POWER of God to control ourselves!

Stop "trying." Trying means we do it by our own power. Our power fails ... BUT we have the POWER of Him. Let's give it to Him!

Exactly Deep, Surrender is THE way...we have to come to realize that we don't have the power to resist, hand Him our burdens, and let Him take control.
