Behaviors Common to the abused

When I read this list I saw myself in way to many of them. Helped me to see that God isn't done with me yet is he. Ok so I continue counseling.
Thought I'd share with you all. We can see why we do some of the things we do.
Behaviors common to the abused.
Substance Abuse - alcohol - drugs
Obsession with money - excessive spending - hoarding
Food disorder - bulimia - anorexia
Rage - excessive saddness - fear - excessive excitement - religious righteousness (working to make self pure) - always smiling (trying to hide or deny situation).
Being detailed oriented
Worry
non-stop talking
lustful thoughts
unsettled mind
Activitiy Obsession - work, sports, reading, gambling, exercise, tv viewing
Being controlling of other people
Allowing other people to control you.
Becoming abusive.
Putting self in situation to be mistreated.
keeping busy
Occupies mind by taking care of others or pets.
If you see yourself in some of these you may wonder where to go for healing.

Not sure about you but I think I can fit into many of those areas. Can be kind of scary to see yourself in need of help. I know God is going to finish the good work he started in me and he will you as well. I have complete faith in that.
