Last night during the Life After Abuse program, I could not find the words needed to help the members who attended. It bafffled me as to why I could not think. There were distractions at home, yes. Pots and pans rattling and the television. They weren't really the problem.

It is now the middle of the night. Woke up and started to pray. It became obvious as to why it was so difficult. I did not lead the members in prayer. Didn't invite the Holy Spirit to be with us. He wasn't leading me. Didn't ask Him to.

When He takes the lead, He makes amazing things happen. When we leave Him behind, we become lost.

I care deeply for every one of my dear friends in Christ. I apologize for this major oversite. I promise to always invite Him to be with us when we gather. He will guide us and give us the words we need to help each other.
