Feeling disconnected from the rest of the world?

Postby Dora » Mon Apr 06, 2009 6:41 am

Would like to talk about this more and learn more about it.

Why? Why do we who are abused feel disconnected? Or is it not all of us, just some.

Always feeling different. Always feeling like an outcast. Always feeling like you don't quiet fit in with everyone else.

Feel like you have to wear a mask so others don't see that something happened to you that shouldn't of happened. Something that isn't "normal".

As if they can see through your mask, right to the deepest part of your soul where you hide the shame your abuse caused.

They can't see through you. They can't tell what happened. But still the fear they will or can is there. Constantly.

It doesn't matter what they think. What matters is we have a God who calls us his child, who loves us unconditionally.

He doesn't see our sin when he looks at us, because he's removed it. He sees his child he dearly loves. A love so great we may never comprehend it.

Anyhow just a few thoughts from a Pine Tree today. Would love to hear others thoughts on this.
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.

thank you Pine...see? loli?
A love so great we may never comprehend it.
take these words loli..not as from Pine..(thank you sis Pine) but you know what i mean?...your words Pine were given by the Holy Spirit... :)

so take these words loli, and allow Him to write them on your heart, He loves you so much..and wants your life to be like a clean slate again...
not what you have done...although yes we need to keep our lives clean, before Him....but to wipe all that has happened before to you....

God bless you both ..Pine and Loli
