Greetings!!!!

I pray you are all well and that peace and understanding is coming from Him.

"What do you want me to do for you?" Jesus says this several times throughout the Bible....

Mark 10 is one example, which I will share here...

Mark 10: 46-52
Jesus Heals Blind Bartimaeus

New Living Translation
[i] 46 Then they reached Jericho, and as Jesus and his disciples left town, a large crowd followed him. A blind beggar named Bartimaeus (son of Timaeus) was sitting beside the road. 47 When Bartimaeus heard that Jesus of Nazareth was nearby, he began to shout, Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!

Awww lani, what a wonderful message. See we so often want to say God if you will instead of God if it is your will.....a big difference in these two thoughts for sure..

I like the questions part here...where we should ask ourself to see if we are following God's direction, and bringing glory to His name in all we do.

Great post sis.

Thanx for sharing.

luv ya

Beautiful post Lani , reminded me of the time when my late sponsor/spiritual adviser saying " I'm going to give you a min to think about the ultimate things that you know you wont be able to acquire beyond your wildest dreams that you would like our lord to grant you , and dont answer till I ask " . A min or so later he said "you ready ?" I said "Yep" he smiled and said , "vahn , you just sold yourself short " !

It has been said that "To have a break-through, one must first have trials" and "Only when we reach (true) rock-bottom, where all we can do is look up... then and only then can we see God's grace", my favorite still... "When we come to realize Jesus is all we have, we finally accept that He is all we need.

Paul said something to the effect of , " I will rejoice when the trials come "

Keep posting Lani , cant wait to hear what you have to say next .

Hello Lani *hug*

God bless you this day.

I've been reading a book and the author took this story about Bartimaeus and compared it to the story of the young man (recorded at the beginning of 10th Chapter of the book of Mark).

lovely message lani *hug*

Reminds me of when God asked Solomon what he wanted, and solomon asked for wisdom and understanding. This was pleasing to God as solomon's wish would be for the betterment of others and was in keeping with the will of God. And of course, God bestowed many other blessings, in addition to the granted wish, upon solomon.

Thanks for sharing sister :) and a big AMEN
