broke my wrist

i put it here because i like it here and it didn't seem to fit anywhere.
i slid on a wet 4x4 under some weeds and my hand went into a large rock. i heard it crack. when i broke my wrist, i called out to God and Jesus. praying the whole way to the hospital.
at the hospital, i asked if i could use my cell phone and was told yes if i could get a single. i had no bars but was able to reach my sister. thank you Lord. we prayed together for a miraculous healing... one that would get people's attention. i continued to pray, finding myself singing Gods praises like heidi baker which was something i had never done before but it felt right.
the doctor asked if i wanted anything for the pain and was surprised when i said i was good, that i keep praying.
ortho dr said i wouldn't need surgery if the bones don't move.
i got splinted up and sent on my way (with pain killers...uncomfortabe for three days)
before going, i told the woman injured across from me to come over so i could pray for her before she left. she did and i did it right in front of my husband! thank you Lord
ortho dr said that it was a direct force fracture where my hand bones pile drove into my wrist bone. this usually causes the fractured bone to split and force it up at an angle requiring surgery. he was very surprised that it did not happen to me ... thank you Lord!
they took another x-ray to make sure it didn't shift. not only did it not shift, it looked better. was in a better position...thank you Lord!
i told the doctor everyone was praying for me. i was quietly humming while he was casting it up and he asked me if he knew the words which i replied i was making it up. i just wrapped a tune around repeating "thank you, Lord"
i have to return in a week to make sure it still doesn't shift. i told him it won't. he said good, positive thinking...i said, positive prayers. all this in front of husband.
then i told the receptionist about all the prayers and she was very excited saying they do help.
i now have a cast from fingers to shoulder. and you all know it had to be bright pink!!!
i won't be able to drive for a while but my husband is really taking care of me. humm... wonder if he will bring me to church on sunday.
thank you those who knew and prayed
love and hugs to all of you!!!
