Hello All,
As those of you I have chatted with know I have been trying to find a church over the past 3 months as I have felt strongly that God is calling me to do this. I found a local one 9 miles from me that sounds great, emailed them and have received a response from their pastor which was so welcoming. They are a community church that have a band that plays contemporary worship music. I am hoping to go and attend a service tomorrow morning and am both scared and excited.
I hope this is what I have looking for.

Praying for you. Generally you need to give it three tries. Particularly if you get there and there is a guest preacher. Even if it is the normal preacher - everybody has an off day. I had one preacher who thought that he needed to preach so many sin sermons a year - so he preached them in July when people were on vacation anyway. I think he had three.

Anyway, I pray that you will be swirled into open arms. And you won't need three Sundays to know you belong.

It was awesome! The people were so welcoming and at the end when the pastor asked people to go to the front if they wanted to invite God into their lives I went up!!!! They said a prayer for me and it felt wonderful.
I am so thankful to God for guiding me there.
