Death

Lately everyone is talking about how the end of the world is coming and how revelations is coming true. In a sense I'm excited because that means Jesus will be coming soon. However, I still have a personal struggle. I am afraid of dying. I dont know if its because I may not fully believe in God. I've talked to Him about this yet I still feel that if someone were holding a gun to my head and said that if I dont denounce God I will die I may not be strong enough to say I believe in Him. I really would like to not fear death but it is a fear that has taunted me since I was young. Any advice? Please pray for me! God bless everyone!

Hello TMB,

Fear is a tool of the enemy. It is something he uses to cast doubt in our minds, and to take us away from the Truth. You know someone shared with me recently, not to believe everything we think...and I think this is something we need to remember in our walk with Christ. Many times our thinking can be influenced by the worldly things we are around...this is why we need to go to God with constant prayer and supplication when we are fighting a spiritual battle. It is our Faith in God that will cast away your fears. Know the Truth and Love the Truth and let Jesus handle the rest.

Hi tmb...

I have the same fear...I know what there is in the afterlife but the transition from here to there is scary. Especially with the end of the world signs, I do have fear..I keep repeating "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
Have you done the end of time study on this site? I am a little hesitant...I pray for you as well as myself that the fear will be cast out and the peace of God will dwell in our hearts and minds...

When you decide to do The End Times Study on this site, I'll be more than happy to try to answer any of your questions. I love the Study. I admit, the first time through the Study, I gulped quite a bit, but The Lord does help us through and gives us the strength and the courage to overcome fear. Thank You Lord \o/ \o/ \o/
