Rev.12
[11] And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Phil.2
[5] Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
[6] Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
[7] But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
[8] And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Regardless of denomination or absence thereof, there are 2 characteristics that are found in a believer that are the hallmarks of their faith; the one being that they love the Lord their God and brethren with the same Love the Lord their God and the Lord Jesus Christ loved them, and the other being their willingness to die for their faith rather than be lost because of that lack of that same willingness. They have the sentence of death in themselves, having accounted themselves nailed to the Cross with their Savior. They have the same mind as the Apostle Paul, saying also of themselves,
(Gal.6) [14] But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

These men and women bear the fruit of their faith being indelibly linked to their God through His Spirit, where it can also be said of them, that they are (Pss.86) [15] full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. Indeed they bear the fruit of the Spirit which is in them, (Gal.5), love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, [23] Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. So now let us examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith or not as the Apostle Paul admonishes us in 2Cor.13 verse 5.
