Stages of Spiritual Growth; Part 8
Hello All,
Blessings!
We have another beautiful day, an opportunity for giving thanks. So let's just praise the Lord!
Today we discuss spiritual growth stage 8. Now we readily admit that what we have presented concerning the stages of spiritual growth thus far are simply possibilities, as the Lord deals with each of us as He wills. But we have written them to encourage all to go forward with their spiritual life, as there is so much more from the Lord that we can receive. We must continue to ask, knock, and seek.
The most important spiritual experience(s) we have presented in the stages of spiritual growth to this point Is the necessity of being born again and filled with the Holy Spirit. We have written this to encourage all those that have not been born again and filled with the Holy Spirit to partake, as such is freely given through repentance. We have not begun unless we have been born again of the Spirit. How will we know, we ask? Old things pass away. All things become new. Our spirit cries out, abba, Father! God Almighty has become our dad. The Holy Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we have become the children of God. Now for those that do not know if pursuing such is truly important, we remember Paul's words. (Read the Book of Romans also).
2Cor.[17] Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.Gal 6.[15] For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
Stage 8 may occur out of sequence, but it is needful for the body of Christ to get this far however old or young we may be, as it is here that we completely trust our Lord. This is the stage of abiding. The Apostle John tells us,
1John.2[6] He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as He, (Jesus), walked.
Here we must walk by faith, completely relying on our Lord for everything. We know He will supply all out need, and we go about the business of our Father's house, being led, directed and guided by the Holy Spirit to willingly do that which our Lord Jesus requires of us.
We have given up all of our self life. Indeed, our priorities are our Lord first, family second, job third, and self last. We understand that if we put our Lord first, He will take care of our family, our needs, and our selves. We walk by faith, not by sight.
We emphasize Rom.8:9 to encourage all to check their spiritual condition before the Lord. If we have truly been born again and filled with the Holy Spirit of God we will know. We will have no doubt. We will have the witness in ourselves. That we go to church every Sunday means nothing unless we have been born again. Nothing avails but a new creature.
Remember, Jesus has promised all those that come to Him him in faith that He would receive them and not cast them out. So what are we waiting for? Let us appear before our Lord on His cross this day, repentant of our sins, fully believing He will receive us into Himself and make us His new creature, a child of God in the spirit, reborn, with the new nature of our Father's love in our hearts.
Blessings!

[9] But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
