Understanding the Dynamics of Spirituality
Hello All
Blessings!
Last week we examined certain principles of spirituality. For example, we examined spiritual love, that love which is a gift of our Creator, God, the Father, our Father, and the Father of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We know Him as Love because He is Love Incarnate, the essence and total manifestation of love in all its spiritual facets, because He Himself is perfect love. We know Him as love because when we are fully ready He reveals the sum total of His Spiritual Self to us, and we are able to know Him in that respect as John the Apostle, and define Him as such, saying, with complete knowledge and understanding, that God is Love. Knowing Him as Love makes us His Sons and Daughters as in knowing Him as love, He also imparts His love nature to us. The Love of God in us is a spiritual dynamic.
Such understanding is a dynamic of spirituality. Spirituality has many dynamics, the greatest being love. This week we will discuss other dynamics of spirituality. Today's dynamic is forgiveness. As much as knowing God is love and receiving His rich supply of love as part of our innermost spiritual nature, (heart), to the extent that more and more we willingly give love to others as our Heavenly Dad has given to us, forgiveness for others is also a gift of God, a working dynamic of the facet of His love that grows out of our knowing Him as love. Forgiveness is a spiritual dynamic.
Spiritual forgiveness does not automatically explode out of our innermost being for those that have wounded us, but grows inside us as we exercise love. Those that have grown in love sufficiently find this greater ability to forgive others out of that love inside our innermost being quite a pleasant surprise. Where before our tendency was to "smack back," our new response is spiritual forgiveness.
Spiritual forgiveness has 3 components, love, prayer, and blessing. We pray for those that have wounded us, and we bless those that have abused us. We do this because we love. We love all, as our Father's nature is to love all, so as we grow in Him, so our nature becomes to love all, as that is our new nature in Him.
Luke.23
1. [34] Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
Matt.5
1. [44] But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Oh, we say in this day of greed and so forth and so on, such is nonsense! And we become vengeful and spiteful. This kind of spiritual response must be compared to going the wrong direction on a 1 way street. Such will lead to spiritual disaster.
So let us grow in our Lord of Lords King of Kings Lord God Almighty Love Dad and find forgiveness for all, loving them, praying for them, and blessing them. Such is the dynamic of spiritual forgiveness. If we will grow in our Heavenly Love Dad's love, growing in His forgiveness will follow.
Blessings!

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
