Getting You Ready To Walk!
Hello All,
Blessings!
Have been revisiting our future in a few posts. And I realize most all of you that have taken the time to read them have had to step back just a little. The doctrine that we shall not go through the tribulation has strong roots among the Body Of Christ Jesus on the Earth. But my purpose in revisiting the doctrine of the rapture isn't to put down what may or may not come to pass in our future or those of our dear loved ones, it is to build up your walk in faith!
And I absolutely can not see how such can be accomplished by saying anything other than what the Word of God says about the fact we shall not all sleep. The Word of God says such lifting to be with the Lord will occur at the LAST TRUMP! Jesus Himself said such shall occur at the LAST TRUMP! Paul said such shall occur at the LAST TRUMP! And I do not find any other reference in scripture that the rapture will occur at any other time.
Back to the point, building the Body of Christ Jesus up in faith to endure whatever comes. If there is some other implied rapture occurring that is secret and always possible at all times it is found in our Lord's comparison with Noah to our day, and Peter's vision of poof, the Earth and its works are torched! What we do not know is whether Peter's vision comes first in our day, or over in the latter day before the Lord makes a new Heaven and Earth.
And it is because we do not know that we must be made strong in the Lord and power of His might to STAND IN THE EVIL DAY! So if you are hanging on to the rapture to explain why you are not accountable to grow up into all the fullness of God, I believe you are making a serious mistake! You risk being offended because you have no root in you to die in the Lord if required which is your reasonable service!
Can you tell me how many Apostles went home in the rapture? Can you tell me how many of the House of God in the time of the Roman persecution went home in the rapture? Can you tell me of the countless missionaries and those persecuted for righteousness sake went home in the rapture?
When is the last trump? After the tribulation of those days...
Blessings!

It is most certainly far better to die in faith believing, than it is to live in unbelief.
