Day 6

Postby Sylvia » Thu Jan 03, 2008 8:22 pm

I am praising God because already I have seen His hand in breaking down the barriers I had built up on deeper things I had kept hidden.
(of course God knows our thoughts)
Shortly after day 5 He gave me Isaiah 43:16,18-19 "Thus saith the Lord, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters; Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."
God does not want me to dwell on the past. He has forgiven me and forgotten it as far as the east is from the west. And He has created a New way, a new plan. It shall spring forth. He makes a way through the wilderness of our lives. He makes rivers in the deserts of our minds.
He loves me. Unconditionally. He is not the one who keeps throwing the past up in front of my face. That is not coming from Him. He has made a new way, a new path, a new plan for me. I need to keep on keeping on.
He will never let go of my hand. Like a parent with a child learning to walk. He wants us to keep trying and to keep leaning on Him. Not ourselves. praise Jesus. Thank you Father. Thank you Holy Spirit
