Confused
Hello, I have been married for about 8mths now and I from day one we have encountered problems. Instead of the problems being resolved them just seem to grow. I knew my husband for 13years before we decided to get married. No, we were not together to the whole time as a matter of fact we were probably together only 1 full year of that time the rest of the time we would go back and forth or just talk on the phone. My husband relocated to a new state and left his family and children when we go married which created a problem in it's self. He also had to find employment and get adjusted to his new surroundings, yet another issue. I have 3 kids from my first marriage and they really didn't care for me getting married again, it had been only them and me for about 13 years. When my husband moved in he helped around the house at first, but stopped because he said he felt unappreciated and my 2 oldest children refused to speak to him. While dealing with all of this, his oldest son moved in with us and is not/was not used to our way of living. (My husband let him run the streets and do what he wanted) My kids and I are a more christian based family and I don't allow them to watch and do whatever. My husband professed to have given his life to the lord and that is why I married him after 12 years of him asking me. To shorten this post I will say after we said "I do", I felt he laid his christianity down. Moving forward to present issues no my husband has a job, but still doesn't contribute to the household properly ( he buys groceries only), he feels he should run the streets all the time and can be verbally abusive at times. I really want to divorce him because I am so sad and unhappy, but I am relunctant because I made a vow to God to death so us part. Any suggestions?

Re: Confused
Please read the study on divorce. It is good. It sounds like you were fooled. Sounds like your husband put up a good front to get you - for whatever reasons he had. And that doesn't sound like a marriage that God has blessed. Please read the study and pray. Don't judge. Don't decide what God has to say. Pray and let God speak to your heart.
Hugs,
