I've been away from this site for some time now & I'm still strugging. To all those that I have met here who I call friends; haven't talked to in awhile, & care deeply for, Hello & God Bless!!! Once again in my life I have faultered & have been weak in my commnitment to the Lord. I just don't understand how I just can't seem to follow & do that which the Lord would have me do. I do good for awhile only to fall flat on my face. I'm asking everybody who sees this message to for God to super-naturally intervene in my life & help heal my body, mind, & spirit. I don't have much time left (I'm 55) I really want the rest of my life to have meaning. I'd also like to transformed into the kind of husband & father my family deserves. Also that God would use all the mistakes I've ever made for His Glory. Lord please forgive me, help me to overcome doubt & fear, help me to have confidence, believe in myself, & save me from myself!

You can't change you. But God can. You can't make you do what is good and right all the time. But God can.

The walk isn't about you sticking to rules and beating yourself into submission. Even if you succeed at that, you won't be very pleasant to be around. And you will be so busy not sinning that you will barely have time left to think about anybody else.

The walk is about focusing on God. And, being an egocentric human being, you will think about your stomach growling, you nose itching, and you back aching many times a day.

Look to God as many minutes in the day as you possibly can. Pray often. Listen to Christian music. And, very important, find dozens of reasons to be thankful every day. Learn to rejoice in other people. I want to find more and more reasons to build up other people. It is difficult. It is so easy to focus on what is blocking me from doing my job rather than the fact that the real job is our Christian walk.

Seek the Kingdom of God first, and everything else will come.

Focus on God first. Praise Jesus. Laugh. Be joyful. Don't make this a trial - that sets you up to fail.

Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly.

Focus on the risen Christ. As many minutes of the day as is possible. And be thankful. over and over and over. And ask God to change you. And let GOD do it.

welcome back.
You stated you didn't know why you coudn't follow thru and keep falling on your face.
Take time for John and God.
Try and keep your mind of what it has to offers.
Seek Him and He will provide, guide , and give you strength
Remember, you have a choice.
We all fall short.
Make a commitment to drop by here each day and share, making yourself accountable.
Being around God's people helps.
Don't beat yourself up over it, but surrender to Him.
