I left off with my Mama's all knowing eyes...that sweet little woman could see right into my soul lol , but as i said earlier, I had several boyfriends..but none lasted long until I met my husband at the old age of 16, he was 20..I would not listen to dad or mom..I got drunk one night with him and ran away to get married, needless to say, we were stop by police my dad was called and we were sent back to my home state. Daddy was waiting and I was so scared, he just took my hand , help me out of the car, told me to go into the house, sent my soon to be husband on his way with directions not to come back. I thought for sure dad was going to lower the hammer, he & mom ask if I was drunk, of course I lied, mom had tears in her eyes and said ...Why? why would you do this? I was so sullen, ( it hurts to speak of my past, but I feel God wants me to, in order to move forward, lol, I haven't even got to the worse part yet) I told my parents...I love him..Dad stood up and said, go change and help your mom with the house work. Mama looked at me and told my dad, " she is so tired, let her go rest for a while, I saw so much love in my Daddy's eyes for Mama, he just said go lay down. I could not believe I was getting off, ( i didn't) you see, my mama had cancer and had for years, in remission, out of remission, dad didn't want her upset. I was grounded, no school functions, no tv, no phone. Later my daddy told me, " we love you, your mom was up all night praying and walking the floors, think about that for a while. I ended up lying to marry my husband, my daddy would not speak to me for weeks, he would not give me away at my wedding, but Mama was there, and after a while, Mama and my aunt talk to my dad, don't know what they said but I walk in one day and Daddy look at me and said, ' Hey, hows daddy's baby girl...I just sobbed, I wanted to make them smile, so i went to church, I was on fire and then cold on fire then cold for God, amazing how God loves us so much, and knows the right timing for us.
