Stepping Stone 2
Okay so today I learned about God planting good seeds in me and Satan planting the bad seeds. I never thought of it that way but it makes sense and I know lately I have been watering the bad seeds. So it is time to weed! This step makes me nervous because it means letting go of things that you have held on to for dear life and we all have had to overcome this I suspect. Anyways I wont list what i am going to have to get rid of but it wont be easy and ill lose friends but I have my friends here right? I feel tired lately and my mind isn't working at full speed so its hard to want to do anything. The weather is yucky and that doesn't help.

Re: Stepping Stone 2
Hi Amie,
Your post today reminds me of when my son was going to be baptized. He had made a personal decision to be baptized the coming Sunday. Everything that could go wrong that morning, did. He woke up sick, we were late to church, werent sure we could even make it! We pushed through, though. Its the same thing here. The enemy of your soul doesnt want you to see you through God's eyes. He doesnt want you to be healed. He doesnt want you to know God's truth or healing or freedom in Christ. But, God says you can. He says you are precious to Him. He says you are His. He says you dont have to live with all the pain and lies the enemy throws at you and has planted in your mind....and He says His truth will set you free.
Remember Peter....and the boat? Letting go of the places we are comfortable in is scarey, but....He is right there with you. He wont lead you to a place you cant handle. He is your strength. I pray the Lord will fill and surround you with peace and healing through this journey.
If you arent comfortable with posting the things you struggle with, thats ok, too. If you feel led to, you wont be judged here. We are ALL sinners saved by God's grace through the blood of our Lord Jesus. As long as you go to Him with an open, honest heart, that is what really important. We are here, though, if you need some help with those things.
In Jesus,
love momo
