Day five

Postby Christine_RL » Sat Jul 23, 2011 2:34 am

I didn't get a chance to journal until late tonight. I had to smile when I read at the top of my account where it says "welcome" and it says "Aren't you a night owl?" Yes, I am a "night owl." :)

Today was a little better than yesterday. I'm still working through those weeds and reading day #5 has helped me stay focused on removing those weeds and replacing them with the Truth.

These two scriptures from Lesson #5 stood out the most today when I was reading the lesson. Two verses that I need to see again and again.

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.

2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
All things are possible to one who believes. ~ St. Bernard of Clairvaux
