If a 1000 years is as a day to God; that means my keeping to going through this study in 14 years is still within the right timing rofl *Whistle* otherwise I'm moving slowly; but still moving and still stepping and still planning to keep stepping *Clap*

it is hard when we start going down the wrong path. I have done things to keep people out of my life and to "feel" protected. Mine involved alcohol. I don't know exactly where this is in the Bible but: "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end that way leads to death." When I went down that path and made mistake after mistake, it seemed the right and easier way to go. That is because I was deceived by the enemy, who is the source of the problem, into seeking immediate relief. When we turn to God again and see the wrong and the mistakes, and yes the sin, our enemy then attacks us through shame and guilt and tells us that we can't be forgiven now...and maybe we continue down the wrong path still. However the truth is, and I know it, if we turn back to God He is ready to forgive and heal. Sometimes it takes time and the "natural" consequences of our sin( like health problems ) are not to be blamed on Him. However we can find healing and peace in that if we will only turn(repent), confess, then obey. God loves to help His children overcome. He has the Power. I don't have to be strong enough anymore. "His strength is made perfect in our weakness" :)

Hi Zemira and welcome to Oasis! So glad to see you are on this path. I believe there is healing in these steps and truths the Lord Jesus wants you to see. In reading your posts I just wanna say this...if you could only see you the way He sees you. If you could only look through His eyes and see the creation that He has made in you. He loves you..and, His opinion is really the only true one. He created you the way He wanted you to be. This ol earthly life is imperfect..and our bodies are imperfect..all of them. Im sure we can all find alot of things about ourselves that we would love to change..but, sister in Him, its not the outside He is concerned with or that He loves. This shell is gonna be gone one day. But know this....He is totally in love with you..I wish you could see you through His eyes.

Keep going sister. He's right there with you. If you have to start over a hundred times, its ok..just keep moving forward. He will show you what He wants you to know and has led you here to do so.

in Jesus,
love momo *Halo*

*ThisMuch* momo, thanks so much for what you shared. I really struggle with love, including His love for me. I know His word says this; I know God's word is true ... therefore He loves me ... hopefully in pulling out more weeds and growing new plants of truth and having those watered I'll "get" it and believe it more and more :)

*ThisMuch* thanks Ciny! :)

*hug* right back to you! Sometimes we just have to choose to believe it just cuz He said it. That is faith...and He grows it in us. Taking those thoughts captive....keep seeking, sis. He's gonna lead you to places youve not seen before.

in Jesus,
love momo *Halo*
