[Temple_Changer]

I feel like I don't want to live anymore. Everything is crashing down around me and I'm not handling it very well. I am on medication and I think it is making things worse. I have been having suicidal thoughts. Lots of anexity and anger, one minute and uncontrolable depression the next. Can't take it anymore. Just dont know what to do!

I am so glad you are here!! You will find yourself in good company...many who have been where you are and have come through.
I don't know what all is crashing down around you right now or what feels so overwhelming, but I can promise you that no matter how it feels, none of it is bigger than He is. He is the one to handle this...He does not expect you, His precious child, to carry it singlehandedly on your shoulders.
You are in the right place Temple...and sharing your struggle is the first step in overcoming it! I look forward to seeing all He will do in and through you!

I want to welcome you to Christianity Oasis -- a place where you'll find fellowship, tons of Holy Spirit inspired studies, and encouragement. I'm glad you are here.

You mentioned you are on medication and that you fear that it is causing you to feel worse. I encourage you to contact your doctor and share this information with them. Lots of medications have bad sad effects -- even those medications prescribed for depression. Sometimes it takes a while for the doctor and patient to find the right medication and right dosage, because our chemical makeup can vary, greatly, per individual. So, call your doctor.

I don't know if you have started the CCCC Study or not (COOL Confidential Christian Counseling) but I encourage you to do so. It has helped hundreds of people, including myself. Take a breath.... Focus on what is real. Who your friends are? Your family? The people here? Try to use logic when your feelings are out of control. How is your day really going outside of the feelings? Are you employed? Are the bills paid? Is your family well?

I know from MUCH experience how depression and anxiety can make one think thoughts that are NOT real. The reality is that you are not your lost and your savior is right there with you and so are we. Sometimes meds take a little to start working. Is there a friend locally you might be able to spend some time with just have someone love on you? Severe depression is a nasty thing to deal with but you can make it, even it is is only one minute at a time. I will praying for your long suffering when it is finished will produce patience in you. Stay the course. You are not alone and your thoughts are do not dictate who you are. Jesus decides who you are. Cast it all and I a mean ALL onto him for he cares for you. Just tell him, Lord I cast on my depression and anxiety and fear on you. I cannot handle this without you. Let me know if you need to vent or just talk about anything...

Hi Temple Changer!!

First, What an awesome name to choose, for you are the temple of God, and God wants to bring healing, hope and joy. To change the temple, to make it all that He has for you.

Second truth. Like they said above focus on what is Real, what is true. Sometimes it can be hard to focus on those things when you feel with out hope, though the beauty of it all is that there are those around you who love and support you. Now this amazing family of sisters and brothers, and God the Creator of who you are.

I was very sucidal, I learned that Satan had a stronghold on my mind, that he was using my thoughts to control how I felt about myself. I actually learned that I had to RENEW my mind like the bible says. I tried it and everytime I had a bad thought, I yelled, "Satan, Youre a liar, I am choosen by God and I will not listen to you anymore!!!" Of course the Devil never gives up, especially when he knows that youre on to him. Then, I would get so depressed that I couldnt even move, then one day, I yelled,' Satan, you have to release this spirit of death that you are putting on me!" and it was really weird, but I felt like a boa constrictor unwrapped itself from me and then I was able to breathe, this whole time, I didnt even know I wasnt breathing right until that let go. I have to fight Satan everyday, But I have noticed the stronger I become and use the word against him, like, "I am a child of God" or You have no authority over me, or whatever verse in the bible I can find and repeat it over and over, it begins to kill that thing that wants to kill you. May I suggest going on utube, someone has posted the audio book to Joyce Meyers, "Battlefield of the Mind." (you'll know which videos they are cuz it has a picture of flowers and was posted by praiseworshipjesus}. It has helped me tremendously. Let me encourage you to not give up. You are not alone even though you feel like it, People like me know how you feel. Satan out to kill us Christians because he knows his time is short. As soon as I post this know, I have prayed for you.

Hello Temple Changer, welcome to the Oasis. I want you to know there is someone out there who cares about what you are going through. Things can often become difficult...and we wonder which way is which...but just know that Jesus is right there beside you...and He wants to be your friend. He wants to help you...and He wants to hear all about your trials that you are facing. My prayers are that you will begin to reach out to Him. He loves you...he really does.
