So many weeds in my garden. I pulled a lot my first go round...but man they sure grew back fast!!! I think a big problem I have is the "let go" part of the let go and let God thing. I held on to somethings...and then I let some back in. I have pulled my biggest weed so far and that was hard to do...it hurt. I HAVE to let go or none of this works. Satan really likes to play with my mind and I have to pray a lot to keep him out. ( being really busy helps too).

*Pray* Pray that I continue to be strong in the Lord and follow HIS guidance and will for my life. Keeping my eyes on HIM!

*hug* Love ya sis.

Way to go sb! When you recognize them pull them right out. Don't let them take root when they try to come back. Keep on keeping on sis.
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.

Hi sbennett,
you are so right about them growing back, I think we broke them off at the roots and that allowed them to grow back(holding onto a few things too) but you did what you needed and now I need to do the same and that's do the steps again, my biggest weed is a thistle weed with all those little needles and MAN do they hurt but my Lord's giving me a shovel so I can dig it up and be rid of it without getting stuck, problem is I didn't take the motivation like you but with your encouragement I'm going to dig out my notes from the 1st go round and do them again....and again until satan sees (forgive me) HE CAN'T TOUCH THIS!!!!
God bless

Hi Tenaj,

I had a very serios issue with letting go and let God. I would let go, take it back and let go again. Then I had the nerve to ask God why does He keep letting me take it back knowing that I didn't have a clue as to what I was doing (LoL). Thankfully, God is a patient God. How I finally got to the point of truly letting go and let God have His way was I had to learn to fully trust God in every area of my life. Once I was able to totally trust God, then I was able to totally surrender to God and allow His will to be done in my life. It wasn't easy, I'm just now getting there myself, but it can be done.

Trust God to know that if He's allowing you to go through it, He has a plan to bring you out.

I have a prayer book, it's called Prayers that avail much by Germaine Copeland or you can go to http://www.prayers.org and view some of the prayers she has about problems in a marriage.

I hope this helps.
