I'm new to christianity oasis and would really like to start my journal. I'm

having a hard time knowing where I should be. All the visuals and

choices are a bit overwhelming and distracting. I'm afraid to be

vulnerable!

Hello Christina *Wave*

You are in the right place. :)

Welcome to Christianity Oasis.

This is a safe place where you can post your deepest issues and struggles free from judgment. A place where you'll be loved despite your down falls. We are all sinners and many have been where you are. Sharing (being vulnerable) brings to light what needs Gods hand. Don't be afraid to share. It not only helps you, but others as well as they'll be able to see where you are, and watch as you grow with Christ and over come. :)

You'll love the steps. I've done them a few times myself.

I hope to get to know you better through your sharing.

Praying for you. God bless and keep you. *Pray*

*hug*

I'm afraid to be vulnerable!

I hear ya. Cuz being vulnerable means we are opening our hearts with the risk of being hurt again. But the promised rewards... healing of past wounds and discovering the amazing depths of God's love, (which can only happen if we lay bare our hearts before God), far outweighs the risk of hurt. And a wonderful thing happens when we take that chance... that fear of being hurt diminishes as we grow in the Lord.

Romans 8:31 If God be for us, who can be against us?

God bless you Christina, welcome *hug*
