Hi sis...may you continue to work on putting God first and foremost. I think life's pleasure really comes from getting closer to Him...and walking arm and arm with Him through all the ups and downs. Keep seeking His word and His truth in your own walk.

luv ya
Do you know my Jesus? Do you know my friend? Have you heard He loves you? If not, I'd like to introduce you.

I noticed some typs:

I believe God has to be my center and wisdom has to be my eyes. I was a :people pleaser" not pleasure, easily felt guilty, and foolish. 2 Timothy 3, God outlines the type of people women were to stay away from but He also said that weak-willed women loaded down with lusts and who are foolish, ever learning but never able to come to the truth, let those men or people into their lives.

I believe Love is an action for mercy and wisdom. Because Jesus said that as you do for others so it will be done to us. (I am uncertain if I am misquoting). Again thank you for your feedback.

heya newcreation..*hug*

as i read back through all of your posts i was reminded of me! you are so not alone in these things. we seek what we know...and then when we run into it again...abusive relationships and such, we wonder why we are so prone to it..and it is because its all we know.

sis...the first part of loving someone..anyone..is seeing them through God's eyes. when you see you through His eyes, that healthy, godly love for yourself comes in. He instills it within you. As you seek His will in your life and step out of the shell and the ways of thinking and believing you have been groomed to think and believe, and you begin to reach out to others who are walking the same steps you have walked, that love that is unconditional is shown through you..and is alive within you.

As it is true, Jesus said to stay away from people who would lead you astray, He says, be in the world and not of it. As you begin to trust Him in you...you will be able to walk in and out of different scenarios...reaching out to those in His love, with His healing, but not be swayed by their behaviors...but you must keep your eyes on Him and ask Him to guide you.

Why does God use a rape survivor to coucel and rape victim? Why does He use a former drug addict to councel a drug addict? Its because they understand. They have been there and know the struggles these are facing.

You know that He said all things work together for the good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose....study on this vs, sis. Let this truth sink in.

We have an online bible here...check up at the top of this page and do a bible search on the word "world" in the new testament. Its very very inlightning.

God bless you sis. again, im so glad the Lord led you here. Keep going through this. Theres so much He wants to show you.

in Jesus,
love momo *Halo*

P.S. just wanted to let you know too, that if you look at the top of where you type your post, you can edit your posts if you make a mistake, but we understand typonese here lol..in fact, we have mastered it rofl

love you, girl...keep going!
James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up.

Hi Newcreation,

I understand exactly how you feel. Maybe you have a constant feeling that things will never be right for you, so you repress any 'good feelings' about people, then they let you down. I understand how hard it is to keep getting back up. I want to encourage you to focus on a few facts - God wants you to be happy, his way is peace, any other way is not His way. No matter what your history entails, as hard as it is to leave it, we can if we choose to go God's way. As helpful as some people think they are, they may be well meaning, but we have to remember they are just like us - human. As much as a struggle as it is, and as hard as it is, if we genuinly forgive others for their trespasses agains us, we become new again! God will lift you up and you will feel his peace. Take care sis and come back often, this is an wonderful place to seek support.

God bless you sis,
