Day 6 8/27
Wow I'm so proud of myself, I'm really growing in humility (hehe).
I actually did the charts.. all 3 of them... and I won't tell you my score for today except to say that the Body chart score fell far short of the rest. A few months ago I was so focused on working out and eaing healthy, and now i can't seem to drag myself to the gym. I will, however, continue to work toward balance in my life.
I loved the study on controlling thoughts so as to control our spirits and bodies. Many of my favorite verses were right there all grouped up like a bunch of beautiful flowers. Being orderly, building precept upon precept, and keeping good records have definitely been weak areas in my life. I've always been one to go 100 mph in circles. Getting nowhere fast and wondering why I'm all worn out and nothing to show for my efforts. Wow I'm so glad God is changing me.
OK now.. I may need a little help forming this new habit so if you happen to see me in chat... feel free to ask me how my chart looks today. And if I look at you with a blank expression on my face tell me to get out my blue notebook and get busy.
