Doing Good....

Postby Danacovertiscool » Wed Jan 28, 2015 9:12 pm

Hello, guys. I'll admit, I still talk about my ex friend from time to time to my friend Ryan, but I'm gonna tell him that it's over and we're NOT going to talk about him anymore. I have told him before that my mom is getting sick of us talking about my ex, but it's me, and mostly me that brings him up. I have a small inkling that I want to be friends, but mostly I'm done. I don't talk about him to anyone else, but Ryan. I've got to get my mind off of him. I'm going to try harder than I've ever tried at something to NOT talk about my ex. Anyway, please think about me this coming Tuesday night when I talk to Ryan and tell him it's over talking about my ex. He(Ryan) told me my ex is NOT thinking about/asking about me. Now it's my turn. If you have any advice, please tell me what I need to do to get over my ex. I know I told Ryan and myself finally a few weeks ago that I'm letting him(my ex) take his time by grieving over our friendship to be over in his mind. Anyway, I'll try to do that. Good luck to me on this thing.

Exes are tough to get over. I still have some exes, I wish I could forget. I tend to pray for them and it gets them off my mind for the time being. Maybe that is why you are still talking about them, perhaps God has it in your heart to pray for him or her. I know sometimes a name pops in my head and I try to pray for them, so that whatever may be the case, they don't end up in a situation I have gone through.

This person I'm referring to is a guy. I'm a guy. No we're not gay. We've been friends for almost 20 years, and that's why I'm having a tough time forgetting him. Anyway. I'm going to do what I said, and then forget it.

Maybe you should pray about this. Maybe you are supposed to do something different. This is very heavy on your heart. Ask God if he wants you to do something. God speaks in the peace. You obviously don't have peace about this. If you get quiet and just sit with God and tell him your heart and then listen, then God will give you peace - but it may be in a different directions. It may take several days of sitting and listening.

I have prayed about this. I'm not going back to being friends with this person. I'm through with them. I'm just gonna tell my other friend Ryan that we're not going to talk about him anymore. I'll change the subject if he does.

I was just venting how I'm doing. I don't really know if I was looking for advice as much as support. I know you all will support me as I deal with this.
