Never forget that we ALL fall down as we sojourn down this Christian Walk. The trick is to get up and carry on fighting the good fight of FAITH. One of the greatest gifts that our Father gave to Christians is ... Fellow Christians. James 5:16 ... Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change
the courage to change the things that I can
and the wisdom to know the difference

Hello David

Glad to see you continuing on this path . I was glad when I read your first post (day 1) , and I am now even glad-er . Going back and reading Day 1 one more time explains why .
I have to question whether I am even still a Christian or if I am completely starting over and
starting over may not be a bad thing
.
.... KEY !

Speaking of my own experience(s) , once I get to the point of starting to question things , it is usually too late , that is why we start questioning :)

Here's the good news .
if I am completely starting over
, once again , the same thing applies .... whenever I start my questions with an IF ....

Better news .
starting over may not be a bad thing

Best news ?
God, grant me the courage to change the things that I can

Keep up the good work brother .

Luv ya
In Christ , our Lord

Hi linster , The last part of Heb 12:2 says For the JOY set before Him He endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. It was for "joy" that He was beaten, stripped naked, spit on ,cursed, mocked and then the agonizing death on the cross !!!!! WHY? It was for the Joy that was to come. That JOY is you, linster. He endured the cross to make it possible for a close and loving relationship to be possible between you and Him. He's experienced shame and the "worst" that life could offer. He understands what you have gone through, He knows your pain. Fulfill His JOY, be faithful to Him, love Him with all of your heart, mind, body and soul (Christianity Oasis is a great starting point). Allow Him to share His life with you, experience His great love. Rom 5:17 For if, by the trespass of the one man (Adam), death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of GRACE and of the GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ! RULE AND REIGN IN LIFE, linster. It's yours for the taking, Christ has made it possible. "Fulfill His Joy" Many are praying for you. Jimf
