Hello Popples :)

God bless you this day.

I have found that the people that seem to get the most out of the CCCC Study, they journal about the Truths learned in each Step -- since each step leads us to scriptures -- and how they can apply them to their own life.

Example -- in Step 2, at the beginning, it says: YOUR MIND ... IS THE GARDEN!

NOW HOLD ON JUST ONE MINUTE ...
IS THIS PROGRAM BIBLICALLY SOUND?

I MEAN ARE WE SUPPOSED TO BE TRYING TO RENEW OUR MINDS?

ABSOLUTELY ...THE BIBLE REVEALS THIS ...

Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Ephesians 4:23-24
And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Awesome, huh? How can you apply those truths -- from that small portion of Step 2 -- to your own life and walk with The Lord? It is about thinking about what is shared in each Lesson/Step, and meditating on the Word of God, as it is spiritual food for your soul.

I hope this helps. :)

God bless and keep you.
Love,
Sister Mack

I'm glad you were honest. :)

I encourage you to ask yourself why did you skip the scriptures? My thoughts are because the enemy of your soul, the devil, knows just how very powerful the word of God is and places with in us all to skip it. Sometimes he even suggests we know that scripture so well we can skip it. I also encourage you before reading each scripture to ask God to reveal to you what He wants you to take from that scripture, to speak to you through it and to use it to sharpen you. *hug*

thankyou to both my sisters for answering my post. I certainly dont know the scriptures infact yesterday was the first time I read any part of the bible and that was Luke 15 talking about the prodical Son. So Ive decided that I would start again with the study and read and mark each and every scripture.
Pine I skipped the scriptures to get through the stones quicker oops not the right thing to do.
