My Journal entry #9

This step is really good! I am not finished reading it, but I wanted to type these things out before I forget them. Sorry if it seems a bit cryptic. There are questions being asked and I wanted to answer them.

Patience, yeah that's not an easy one! It has taken about 4 years for this problem to develop into something that I realized only God could remove. There has been distance between me and God for roughly 6 years now. I believe it has taken that long because of my state of mind and He had to bring me to that place where I yearned for Him and wanted to be close to Him again.
Actually I've applied this same logic to this website. I found this website late last year. I signed up and waited eagerly to start participating. After a week of not hearing anything I inquired about my membership. Well, during this time New Years happened and I went to church where I met people, was touched by God and was invited to Bible study. I think this was God at work. Because of my social anxiety I much rather communicate with Christians online. But God knows that I need Christian interaction irl and He knew that if I had begun to communicate on this site I might not have gone to church that Sunday. Well, now I have Christian interaction online and off all thanks to God and His perfect timing :)
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. I'm off to work now.

\./ He is soooooo COOL like that!

All Praise and Honor to the one who knows and meets our needs according to HIs will!

I think it is so awesome that He never leaves us or forsakes us, even when we try to leave Him. One magnificent way to enlighten our learning of patience is to examine and meditate on how patient He is with all His creation. *AngelYellow* Once we get a glimpse of that understanding, it comes a lil easier on our part to practice such Godly patience.

I know He is thrilled to be back into fellowship with you sweet child of His! Welcome home!

God bless you and keep you

Isn't He though?! Thanks Jill! It was cool, the Pastor was preaching just yesterday on our need for Christian fellowship and community. It's almost like God is trying to tell me something... ;)
