Yesterday morning the Holy Spirit helped me rise out of bed and get busy with my day. I had my coffee with him, read the daily bread and did a bible study with him. Then my baby brother called me and wanted to do some catching up since I hadn't talked to him since the New Year, plus he lives 2hrs away and was at my sister's house helping her repair her refrigerator. (This is my baby brother of 3, not the one I loan the money to) Anyway, I agreed. So at this point, I decided to start getting ready to come over to my sisters house and put off from doing Step 9. I figured I would do it later on that day. Well, not so, my sister needed my help once I got here and therefore, there went my time. I was helping my sister clean up her youngest daughter's room which was very disgusting, helped her declutter it, organize it, and believe it or not paint it as well. I knew I had to do my study for step 9 but when I looked up it was 3:30am when we finally got done. Before I went to sleep, I asked the Lord to please forgive me and to once again give me the strength to get up the next morning (today) so I can start my day early. The Holy Spirit did just that, I got up right before 8am and I feel wonderful. Praise the Lord. I am sooo thankful that although I missed that step yesterday, he forgave me and never left my side.

Step 9 had this bible verse Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new Spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statues, and ye shall keep my judgements, and do them. Hallelluia Praise the Lord Amen. I love the Lord and I want to keep getting closer to him. I'm going to try very hard never to miss my steps again but I want you to know that I am still here by the Grace of GOD!

Keep up the good work sleepless , doing great . Each of our own needs and pace . There are no cut-n-dry schedule with our Lord , here's a little secret , God doesn't have a watch or a calendar , shhh , don't tell anyone ok ?

Hey sleepless...so you were able to go and help your sister in her time of need...praise God what a blessing you were to her. God is smiling on you sis.

Just because you skipped a day sis...doesn't mean you did anything wrong...because here you are getting back to it and doing the step now. God is proud of you for continuing on. Just a few steps to go sis...finish the race.

sis, just keep goin. Condemnation doesnt come from the Lord. He knows your heart and intentions and youre reaching out to help your sister IS love in action.
