hiya marrieds ...

valentines day is fast approaching and i know my hubby is so very lonely without his girl(s) lol

i've been wracking my brain to come up with something a lil different this valentines day ... you know, sumtin a lil extra ... and by jove, i found it!!

i'm going to send him 14 valentines wishes; starting on feb. 1 and ending on feb 14, one for each day! (on hand made cards, which are his favs)

so i spent some time on the internet, looking for some kewl sayings and poems and whatnot. you know i've found some really, really GOOD stuff, so i wanted to share some of it here. i hope you enjoy them, here's the first one:

Love is like a mustard seed;
planted by God
and watered by men

Love feels no burden,
thinks nothing of trouble,
attempts what is above its strength,
pleads no excuse of impossibility...
It is therefore able to undertake all things,
and it completes many things,
and warrants them to take effect,
where he who does not love would faint and lie down.
Love is watchful and sleeping, slumbereth not.
Though weary, it is not tired;
though pressed, it is not straitened;
though alarmed, it is not confounded...

- Thomas A. Kempis -

... and it is a struggle to stay on "this-side" of the happy marriage fence.

I hope you don't mind but I wish to borrow it.

i think good ideas become better when you share them, and then when someone else uses them ... well, ...

thats the bomb!!!!!

.... it is then that they reach their perfection!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wrote your name in the sky,
but the wind blew it away.

I wrote your name in the sand,
but the waves washed it away.

I wrote your name in my heart,
and forever it will stay.
