Secrets

Secrets of a child,
no one ever sees.
A loss of innocence,
that was taken from me.

A betrayal of trust,
I had in them.
That feeling is broken,
I can not trust again.

Hiding my secret,
to ashamed to tell.
Fooling everyone,
even fooling myself.

Unsure of how it happened,
or how it began.
Trying not to think,
I fool myself again.
