I wrote this to celebrate the rebegining of a friend's home bible study

This is the place where journeys began
Where God revealed his purpose and plan
This is the place where lives turned around
Where hearts were healed and peace was found

One dear lady had suffered great loss
And she sought comfort at the foot of the cross
She cried out to Jesus in sorrow and grief
Now God has blessed her beyond all belief

Now she's living a Spirit Filled life
Transcending above all the heartache and strife
God is using her in powerful way
As she lives for Jesus day after day

I was a drunkard, just wasting away
Then God said ''This stops, right now, today''
''If I'm going to use you, it's time to be sober''
''So as of now, your drinking is over''

Now, I'm converted like Saul to Paul
Don't want to go back to that old life at all
To live for God is my heart's desire
My heart is filled with Holy Ghost fire

These are just two stories that I can tell
But I'm sure other lives were touched as well
Because this dear sister answered the call
And opened her home to one and to all

So as this Bile study begins anew
Lets thank God for the seeds that grew
Planted in the soil of a willing heart
It's where many great things had their start
