"What Faith Can Do" ~ Kutless ~

What Faith can Do!
~ Kutless ~
Lyrics

Everybody falls sometimes
Gotta find the strength to rise
From the ashes and make a new beginning
Anyone can feel the ache
You think it's more than you can take
But you're stronger, stronger than you know
Don't you give up now
The sun will soon be shining
You gotta face the clouds
To find the silver lining

I've seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn't ever end
Even when the sky is falling
I've seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That's what faith can do

It doesn't matter what you've heard
Impossible is not a word
It's just a reason for someone not to try
Everybody's scared to death
When they decide to take that step
Out on the water
It'll be alright
Life is so much more
Than what your eyes are seeing
You will find your way
If you keep believing

I've seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn't ever end
Even when the sky is falling
I've seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That's what faith can do

Overcome the odds
You don't have a chance
(That's what faith can do)
When the world says you can't
It'll tell you that you can!

I've seen dreams that move the mountains
Hope that doesn't ever end
Even when the sky is falling
And I've seen miracles just happen
Silent prayers get answered
Broken hearts become brand new
That's what faith can do
That's what faith can do!
Even if you fall sometimes
You will have the strength to rise

Ahhhhhhhhhh "Faith can Move Mountains"
Mmmmm Hmmmm Well, let me share a lil somethin from my childhood.

Most of you know my grandmother is the person who began my relationship with Christ.

One day, as we sat out back at her patio table.... she shared the
Mustard Seed Parable with me.... showing me an example of the seed and the plant it created.
Then she shared the verse "you could say to that mountain "move from here to there" and it would"

Now, my grandmother should have known better... I've always been an inquisitive soul :) I decided to test her sharing....
That mountain did NOT move, it is in fact still in the exact same place as it was when I "tested"

I was a teenager when I shared this with her and after she stopped laughing she said....
Not a physical Mauna (mountain) you silly girl.... the emotional mountains we allow to grow around us... the problems we allow to consume us.... the worry that takes over our lives.... and so on....

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh those mountains. Now she tells me *Whistle*

I have been blessed to see the awesome things Faith has brought forth.

I remain steadfast in faith of many more things and pray continuously that those things are in line with God's Will and that He hurries! ;)

This song is a neat reminder with an awesome beat that gets me back on track when human crud causes me to shift focus.

Your Turn!

Luv ya! *hug5*

Thanks for sharing that story.

I'm a bit stressed and sad so I took a break from life. Chose to come here to the music forum.

Glad I did. :)

My grandmother didn't know enough about God to tell me stories but she played amazing grace on the guitar for me and told me over and over and over Jesus loves me. Grandmas are the bestest!!!!

Thanks Lani for the good memories and sharing an awesome song.
*angel7* Sorrow looks back, Worry looks around, But faith looks up! Live simply, love generously, care deeply, speak kindly and trust in our Creator who loves us.
